Emberveil is a fun adventure game set in a magical, mushroom-filled world full of danger and discovery. Explore a beautiful fantasy world, find and defend villages, equip warriors, clear dungeons, defeat bosses, and bring peace to Emberveil. Peace brings a steady flow of materials from the villages for crafting and upgrades. Then collect, prepare, buy, and loot supplies for important events such as weddings, festivals, and holidays.

The peaceful, small-statured Emberlings had once lived in the busy industrial cities in the North. Their smaller stature made them easy targets for exploitation and abuse.
One day, an adventurous, young Emberling, named Draxen, toke a longer than usual hike into the forest beyond the city's limits only to become lost. After days of wondering through swamps, mountains, and glaciers, Draxen found a beautiful meadow full of mushrooms, magic, and wonder. It was peaceful and lush with plenty of land for growing food and raising goats. One shroom in particular, had the magical power to teleport you back to home!
Upon arriving home, Draxen immediately began to spread the word about the beautiful meadows and mushrooms he had discovered. Soon a meeting was held and it was decided the Emberlings would move to the new land and make it their home, Emberveil.
After living peacefully, undiscovered for hundreds of years, others eventually discovered their villages and farms, and began to come. But it was those who had exploited them before and they had grown more evil, resorting to slavery and horrible abuses of all manner of creatures.
The Emberlings need your help to restore peace to their land and fight off the enemy who have discovered Emberveil.

I'm a solo dev living in Canada.
I have been coding all my life. Over the years I have made a number of custom software solutions for a variety of businesses with my biggest project being my SaaS accounting software, Bean Cruncher.
However, it's been out for a while and recently I thought, I need a new project. As life long gamer and solo dev with some game development experience, making a game for Steam seemed like the best choice.
With years of gaming experience, making a Roblox game, a 2D game in GameMaker, plus a few as a teenager, in August 2025 I decided to give it a solid try and release a game on Steam!
